Ofqual - Calculators consultation: decisions and summary of responses

Ofqual have published decisions following the consultation on regulating use of calculators in new GCSEs, AS and A levels.

The new rules require exam boards to publish their approach to using calculators in exams (including any restrictions on their use) and ensure that the assessments still remain fit for purpose.

The decisions relate to any reformed GCSE, AS or A level where students can use calculators in exams.
