District Judge Appointment

HM The Queen has appointed Janet Lambert to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Kenneth Clarke QC MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Royal Courts of Justice with effect from Wednesday 6 April 2011.

Notes to editors

Janet Lambert, aged 54, will be known as District Judge Lambert. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1980 and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
