Focus groups report is live - how do you think we’re doing?

Throughout March and April of this year we held a series of focus groups in cities up and down the country, to find out what our centres thought of what we do and how we do it. More than 100 centre representatives came to air and share their views - and we can now share the findings.

Subjects ranged from the benefits of being a member of the UK online centres network, to our campaigns, the training we provide to centre staff and volunteers, and the resources available across all our websites.

We were very happy to hear you had lots of opinions and we’re now very excited that after reviewing all your fantastic feedback, we’ve drawn together the key findings into a report - available here.

There were lots of really interesting points raised, such as the need for more support for rural areas, the language barriers faced by many communities and the desire for more opportunities to meet with and talk to other centres from around the country about the work you do. We’re now looking at how we can put your advice and suggestions into action.

We’ll keep you informed as we assess the findings and discuss next steps, but in the meantime do take a look at the report and see what everyone said about how we’re doing.
