The Keeper's Gallery is now open

Our on site museum, now called the Keeper's Gallery, has re-opened.

We have made changes to the layout, making it a brighter, more inviting space for visitors. There is now extra space for visiting school groups - allowing better access for our award-winning education programme.

By making the space brighter and increasing the ambient temperature we will no longer be able to provide the right environment to have Domesday permanently on display. Instead, there will be a new rotating exhibit in the central part of the museum that will feature Domesday for approximately six months every five years. The first documents to be exhibited here are the Act of Supremacy and Valor Ecclesiasticus, both dating from the reign of Henry VIII.

Visit us at our Kew site to see our new museum space and explore our exhibitions.
