Religion and Belief in Further Education: Seminar on Meeting Learners’ Needs

A recent study of learners’ views on religion and belief found that, while most learners found Further Education welcoming, 11 per cent had experienced bullying or harassment due to their religion or belief.

The Agency is holding a free seminar to explore how best to meet learners’ needs. The seminar will take place on 14 March at the Hotel Russell, Central London between 10:30am and 1.30pm.

By attending, you will:

  • hear from Ofsted about their expectations
  • hear about work conducted by the National Union of Students on managing tensions between different groups of learners
  • hear examples of good practice from the Learning and Skills Improvement Service and from colleges and providers across the sector
  • hear from the National Council for Faiths and Beliefs in FE
  • have an opportunity to have your say.

To register for the event or find out more details, please see the seminar leaflet.
