Call to participate in Micro-Business survey

Business owners and interested parties are urged to take part in a short questionnaire to help develop a business strategy to support micro-enterprises in Wales.

The Task & Finish Group appointed by Business Minister Edwina Hart to advise on the development and implementation of a Micro-Business strategy for Wales is now gathering evidence.

Robert Lloyd Davies, Director of the Institute of Directors in Wales, who is chairing the group said he hoped as many people as possible would use this opportunity to put their views forward.

“We want all interested parties to feed into the development of the strategy to ensure a wide range of views are taken on board. The on-line questionnaire will enable us to review the current support available, identify barriers to growth that micro-businesses face and understand what support these businesses need to grow and create jobs.

“In order to develop an effective strategy to support their growth and expansion we need to hear from these business owners as well as from organisations and individuals working in the business community.

“I urge all interested parties and individuals to get involved, to take the time to complete the questionnaire and work with us to help develop a strategy that meets the needs of micro businesses and supports their growth and sustainability.”

The deadline for responses is 31 October. The questionnaire can be found on the website above and the following password needs to be typed in: J7fvhqyBxU
