Charities win prestigious awards for improving health in the UK

10 charities have won 2013 GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) IMPACT Awards for their outstanding contributions to improving the UK’s health and wellbeing, GSK and The King’s Fund announced last week at the awards ceremony held at the Science Museum.

GSK’s prestigious accolade, run in partnership with The King’s Fund, awards at least £30,000 to each organisation, and training to be able to take their organisations to the next level. A further £10,000 will be awarded to the overall winner, announced at the awards ceremony itself for the first time.
