Skills Funding Agency response to NAO report on apprenticeships
Responding to The National Audit Office Assessment of Adult Apprenticeships, published today, Geoff Russell, Chief Executive of the Skills Funding Agency, said:
“The Agency has valued the NAO’s open and transparent review of Apprenticeships and the opportunities we have had to consider and challenge aspects of the report over the past few months.
“The report appreciates the steps that the Agency has taken, on behalf of the National Apprenticeship Service, to increase the rigour and scrutiny of our procurement, contracting and performance management of providers. The Agency will continue to work with colleagues across the sector to ensure that Apprenticeships across England are delivered to the standards required by employers, learners and the National Apprenticeship Service.”
