NIESR: Drivers of Immigration to the UK and Where Immigrants Choose to Locate

The Department for Communities and Local Government has published two research reports by the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR ) on international migration to the UK .

The first report examines the determinants of international migration between the UK  and 14 different groups of countries.

The second report, 'Local Geography of International Migration to the UK ', by Ana Rincón-Aznar and Lucy Stokes, explores the determinants of immigrants' location choices within the UK.
