Diversity education bursary - applications now open

The National Archives is offering two bursaries to support candidates in gaining a qualification to help them enter the archives sector. The bursary will provide financial support and help to address the socio-economic barriers to entry that may exist for some candidates.

We would therefore particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic (BAME) and disabled applicants.

The scheme will provide funding of up to £10,000 for a one year full-time professional preparation qualification. This could be an MA or equivalent, including archives, records management, information management or humanities computing courses.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Tuesday 30 April 2013.
