Estates Professional Services Procurement Exercise

After undertaking a full review of our procurement strategy, we believe we need to fully engage with both industry and customers to ensure we take account of the changing requirements of our customers to ensure we secure best value and efficiency out of the framework agreement.

Therefore we will begin the procurement process for the replacement framework by placing a Prior Indicative Notice in the Official Journal of the European Union by 10 February 2012. The new tendering exercise will be undertaken following the Open Procurement procedure, which will reduce the time to deliver a new framework agreement. It is our intention that the new framework will be awarded and accessible to customers in November 2012.

Information for customers:

We will be holding Customer Sounding events between 20 and 22 March 2012. If you wish to attend, are interested in finding out more about this procurement exercise, or wish to support the delivery of the procurement as an evaluator during the evaluation process which is likely to take place between August and September 2012 please contact us via our customer service desk on 0345 410 2222 or email eps@gps.gsi.gov.uk  by Friday 9 March  2012.

Information for suppliers:

We will issue a Prior Information Notice (PIN) in the Official Journal of the European Union on 10 February 2012, outlining details of Supplier Industry days that will take place in late February 2012. The PIN notice will be available to download via Tender Electronic Daily (http://ted.europa.eu/TED/main/HomePage.do).

At the events we will provide an overview of the potential scope and structure of the framework and obtain views from industry prior to commencing with the competitive tendering exercise. All companies interested in submitting a bid for the framework agreement are welcome to participate in these events.
