CBI comments on Annual Energy Statement 2013

The CBI yesterday responded to the Government’s Annual Energy Statement 2013.

Rhian Kelly, CBI Director for Business Environment, said:

“It’s important that we have a more honest conversation about energy prices, and start to rebuild trust between politicians, the energy industry and consumers.

“Reducing switching times and introducing a competition test should help us move on.

“The competition test must be credible and robust if it’s going to rebuild trust in this market.”
