Calling all North East Voluntary organisations! On Wednesday 25th September you’re invited to a free workshop to find out how to inspire people in your local area to make the most of getting online.

This training workshop is run by UK online centres and partners Go ON UK, Digital Unite and EON. The two hour session will be jam-packed full of presentations, discussion and demonstrations and will cover:

• The role of a Digital Champion
• What you’re expected to do as a Digital Champion
• How to address the barriers, and the common reasons people aren’t on the internet
• What other support is available in the community so learners can continue their journey.

You’ll also get the opportunity to network with other centres and find out all about their experiences – maybe you’ll pick up a few new ideas!
