Benefits of virtual testing felt on front line
A powerful facility, functional since June 2010, that allows military researchers to rigorously test new technologies quickly and safely in a virtual environment, is already helping UK front line operations.
The Information Superiority Experimentation Laboratory (ISEL) is located at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) site at Porton Down in Wiltshire, and employs MOD scientists who support operations.
