Changes to ITQ process and new website

We are currently implementing a new eEnablement strategy which aims to transform the sourcing, procurement and management of centralised deals and suppliers to ensure that all arrangements are easily accessible to customers.

As part of this strategy we are developing a new website which will be launched w/c 16 April. It will replace the current website and help simplify access to deals, providing information, guidance and direct access to the supporting eProcurement tools.

We are also rolling out a new eSourcing suite, with a range of electronic sourcing tools to benefit both our customers and our suppliers. Once the new portal is live, the existing Capability Assessment and Invitation to Quote (ITQ) systems will be replaced by further competitions run through the new eSourcing suite.

Following the launch of the new website, customers will be able to use the eSourcing suite to run further competitions, or will be able to browse and buy from catalogues through the Government eMarketplace.

eSourcing suite

Current users of the existing ITQ tool will be pre-registered to use the new further competition functionality in the eSourcing suite.  We will email you login and password details shortly.

If you have not used the ITQ tool in the last three months, you will need to register for the eSourcing suite by emailing the following information to eEnablement@gps.gsi.gov.uk

  • full name
  • email address
  • organisation name 

We will then send you login details to enable you to access the further competition tool and to update your profile. Please ensure you update your profile as it is important that we hold correct information. 

Full guidance to customers on how to run further competitions using the new eSourcing suite will be available on the new website. 

Please note that live Capability Assessments and ITQs placed via the existing website prior to the changeover will continue through to completion, however all new competitions will be conducted through the eSourcing suite. 

Product catalogues 

Product catalogues on our current website will not be accessible following the launch of the new portal.  Where appropriate, catalogue content is being moved into the Government eMarketplace. Many catalogues are already available. 

Please note that your organisation will need to have a Service Provider Agreement in place with ProcServe to enable individual users to register and purchase through the eMarketplace.  For further information, please contact eEnablement@gps.gsi.gov.uk
