LAND DATA ANNOUNCES LOCAL LAND CHARGES INDUSTRY AWARDS WINNERS

The winners of the Land Data Local Land Charges Industry Awards, were announced last night at Bristol’s Marriott Hotel. Over the course of a memorable evening hosted by television and radio broadcaster Clare Balding, the winners were honoured across 6 categories covering marketing innovation, customer satisfaction, best NLIS Local Land Charges Department, Local Land Charges Officer of the Year and a special tribute award. Over 180 Local Land Charges Officers from around the country attended the awards dinner.

The 2009 winners:

Marketing Innovation – Fenland District Council

Customer Satisfaction for Local Authority Searches – Torridge District Council

Most Improved Local Land Charges Department – Hambleton District Council

Best NLIS Local Land Charges Department – Wakefield Metropolitan District Council

Local Land Charges Officer of the Year – Judith Addison, Hyndburn Borough Council

Special Tribute Award - Caroline Frankland, East Staffordshire Borough Council




Industry experts from Land Data, NLIS, Severn Trent Searches, The Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), The Law Society, The Local Land Charges Institute (LLCI) and The IDOX Group carefully reviewed the entries and selected the winners. Entries were reviewed and judged on critical success factors such as planning, evaluation, implementation strategies and results achieved to date.
