IISS: Lebanon indictments set to raise tensions

Tensions are growing in Lebanon ahead of the issuance of indictments, expected later this year, in the February 2005 assassination of Rafik Hariri, the former Lebanese prime minister.

This incident and other significant difficulties met by the STL prompted the UN Security Council to meet on 5 November and reiterate its support for the tribunal.
