CEOP Most Wanted: Help police locate missing child sex offender Jason Trask

Details of the 22nd convicted missing child sex offender to be published on the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre’s Most Wanted website www.ceop.police.uk/wanted have been released recently.

Jason TRASK, 63 and a UK national, was last known to have been living in Holland, but has since returned to the UK. He has links to Bradford, Huddersfield, Woolwich, Greenwich, Medway, Maidstone and Canterbury.

Trask has numerous convictions for serious child sexual abuse committed over a period of 44 years, in both the UK and Holland, commencing in 1964. As such, he poses a significant risk to children. He is currently wanted for breaching the notification requirements of the Sex Offender Register.

Trask is 5’9” tall, of thin build and may wear glasses. He is bald and has a tracheotomy scar in the centre of his neck.

Since the launch of CEOP's Most Wanted site in November 2006, 19 of the 21 offenders posted have been located. These 19 offenders had been missing for a combined total of 63 years.

Peter Davies, Chief Executive of the CEOP Centre says:

“We have had massive success with the Most Wanted site since it was launched in 2006 and it is highly likely that once again, someone at some stage will recognise Jason Trask now his details are out there.  If you do see him or know of his whereabouts, then please contact Crimestoppers using the CEOP Most Wanted website.

“I would like to take this opportunity to again encourage people to register on the Most Wanted website via www.ceop.police.uk/wanted, to look at the details of Jason Trask and those of other individuals who are still missing, to see what they can do to bring those offenders to justice.”
