Martha Lane Fox to speak at Socitm 2010
UK Digital champion Martha Lane Fox is joining the speakers for Socitm 2010. The lastminute.com founder is advising the government on providing better, more efficient online public services.
Marth Lane Fox has already indicated that local authorities have a vital role to play in accelerating efforts to help more people benefit from the internet, and has welcomed Socitm's official support for the Race Online 2012 campaign that she is leading. As a member of the Government's high profile Efficiency Board, and the person leading work on driving uptake of online services - including the transformation of Directgov - her contribution is eagerly awaited.
