Review of allegations of child sex abuse and historic investigations

The Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre and the police and other relevant agencies, under the direction of Keith Bristow, Director General of the National Crime Agency (NCA), are carrying out a review and potentially an investigation, into new allegations of historic child sexual abuse at children’s homes in North Wales, as well as a review of historic investigations.

If you have been a victim of child abuse or you have other relevant information to share you can report this to the NSPCC:

By phone:  0800 389 6176

By text:      88858

By email:   help@nspcc.org.uk

Online:      www.nspcc.org.uk/reportconcern

Your call will be answered by specially trained NSPCC staff, who will listen to what you have to say and treat this in the strictest confidence. With your consent, this information will then be shared with CEOP.

Callers to the helpline will be greeted by an initial message in Welsh. After a short introduction, the call will revert to English, unless callers wish to continue in Welsh.
