CEOP’s Most Wanted twins in custody

Twin brothers whose details were posted on CEOP’s Most Wanted website were last week (Friday 8th April), both in custody in France.  Kenneth John and Thomas Anthony Parker, both convicted high risk child sex offenders whose details were posted on CEOP’s Most Wanted website just seven days ago, will be returned to the UK as soon as possible.

Kenneth Parker was arrested for breaching his notification requirements, an offence which in itself carries up to five years in prison and Thomas was arrested for a separate (not sexually related) matter, although was wanted for also breaching his notification requirements. The UK Police are continuing to work with the French Authorities to have them returned to the UK.

CEOP's Most Wanted site – http://www.ceop.police.uk/Wanted/ - has already seen 20 high risk convicted offenders located since its launch in 2006 and the location of these two individuals brings the total to 22.

Peter Davies, Chief Executive of the CEOP Centre says: “This is yet another great success for all involved in locating two dangerous, high-risk child sex offenders. Officers at CEOP, Sussex Police and Warwickshire Police officers and the French Gendarmerie have all worked extensively to ensure that these two individuals are brought to justice. We have been overwhelmed by the response from the public during the last seven days and I would like to thank all those who have taken the time to report their suspicions to the Most Wanted site”.

Sussex Police spokesperson: "We are glad to hear that Kenneth Parker is in custody following the CEOP Most Wanted appeal and we will be seeking his extradition”.

Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Jones from Warwickshire Police said: "We are really pleased that both Parker twins are now in custody and are grateful to the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre for their support.
