HEFCE and OFFA call on higher education institutions to submit strategic assessments of their widening participation activity

HEFCE and the Office for Fair Access have set out details of the new form of reporting for institutions on widening participation in higher education.

The new arrangements will provide higher education institutions and further education colleges in receipt of direct HEFCE funding with an opportunity to demonstrate and take credit for the work they are doing in respect of widening participation, and show how it is embedded in institutional missions and policies.
