BHF - Recycle your unwanted and reusable household goods

October is one of the busiest months of the year to move house, so why not donate your unwanted and reusable household goods to one of our Furniture & Electrical Stores.

According to new research by our Stores, the average person will move house six times during their lifetime, with those of you that pay to get rid of your unwanted household possessions forking out £83 each time – equalling £495 in a lifetime, with wardrobes, sofas and beds being the top three items to get rid of.

So many unwanted household items are perfectly reusable

BHF's Retail Director, Mike Taylor, said: “It is worrying to see that people are paying so much to get rid of unwanted household items, when so many are perfectly re-usable.

“In light of this, I’d like to encourage you to use our Furniture & Electrical Stores free collection service for your unwanted household goods, which can even be booked online. We're always looking for good quality stock, and your donations will help us continue our life saving work into the fight against heart disease.”

BHF's F&E Stores are like an Aladdin's cave - stocked with a variety of household goods including suites, sofas, chairs, dining sets, beds and wardrobes plus an array of electrical items including TVs, Hi-Fis, washing machines, fridges and dishwashers.

To arrange a free collection, call 0844 412 5000 or book online.
