Changes to the QCDA website

QCDA is closing as part of the Government's education reforms. During March 2011 we're updating our website so it reflects our reduced remit until the site closes on 1 October 2011.

All material held on www.qcda.gov.uk, both statutory and non-statutory, has been transferred to the National Archives web archive at http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20110119043018/http://www.qcda.gov.uk/. The National Archives is an executive agency that works with over 250 government and public sector bodies, helping them to manage and preserve information.

From 1 April 2011 all statutory guidance and legislation on this site will reflect the current legal position unless indicated otherwise. This statutory material will be transferred to the Department for Education in the coming months before the QCDA site is closed.

If you can't find the information you're looking for, it may have already been removed. For any guidance that doesn't appear on the site, please visit the National Archives.

If you can't find the information you're looking for in the National Archives, please email info@qcda.gov.uk.

More information on website rationalisation can be found at www.education.gov.uk/help/websiterationalisation, but if you need to contact the Department for Education you can do so via http://www.education.gov.uk/help/contactus
