Futureskills Scotland re-launched their Research Online tool today.  The site contains over 4,000 labour market reports and has been expanded to include a number of new features as well as improving the look and feel of the service.  The refreshed tool has new search facility, which includes the ability to "search within a search"; users can also select reports and add them to a reading list, for download or to save or even to send to colleagues via e-mail.  There is a new homepage, listing new headline reports as well as a sign-up for monthly updates of Research online content.

The service is provided by IDOX PLC, who have managed the tool since the original launch in 2003. The service is available completely free of charge.

With around 30 Key Organisations contributing to Research Online there are hundreds of new additions each quarter; if your organisation would like to contribute relevant labour market research and intelligence to Research Online, please contact us at futureskillsscotland@scotent.co.uk.
