Round the Clock Banking for North Wales Credit Union members

Credit Union members across North Wales can now bank securely online thanks to a new website launched by North Wales Credit Union.

The website, created with £7,000 in funding support from the Welsh Government’s Communities 2.0 digital inclusion project, offers round the clock access for Credit Union current account customers who wish to manage their money online.

The easy-to-navigate site also offers a handy ‘loan calculator’ that allows members to see how much they can afford to borrow, and what it would cost to repay over a time frame that suits them.

Local Government and Communities Minister Carl Sargeant welcomed the new service and the part that it will play in the Welsh Government’s top priority of tackling poverty.

He said:

"The new website links to lots of really useful information such as the Money Advice Service’s website about managing your money. It takes just ten minutes to answer a few straightforward questions and get a personal action plan that identifies three key things you can do to make the most of your money."
