Commenting on Team GB’s gold in the men’s showjumping at the London Olympics, Sport Minister Shona Robison said:
"To be the team to win the first gold medal in British team showjumping since the 1952 Olympics is a tremendous achievement, especially in a tense jump off.
"I’d like to add my congratulations to Scott Brash and his teammates in adding another gold medal to Team GB’s already impressive tally.
"This means Scottish athletes have now won six golds and ten medals in total, the highest ever number of medals at the Olympics and surpassing the nine medals won in 2000, a fantastic record with nearly a week of competition left."
