BHF - Wolves and England star Matt Jarvis calls for more life-savers

Wolverhampton Wanderers and England midfielder, Matt Jarvis, has pledged his support to our new drive to create more life-savers.
Following Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba’s collapse in March, we've launched our Life-saver appeal asking for help in training more people in Emergency Life Support skills, including CPR.
It costs us around £5 to train someone with the skills to save a life and we're urging fans to create a life-saver of their own by texting ‘CPR’ to 70030 and donating £5.
It’d be incredible if fans around the UK donated £5 to help give someone the skills to save a life
Wolves’ winger, Matt Jarvis, said: “The last couple of months have proved just how important it is for more people to know how to use CPR to help someone who’s had a cardiac arrest.
“It would be fantastic if the UK’s football stadiums were filled with people who knew exactly what to do in a medical emergency - the British Heart Foundation’s Life-saver appeal can help that become a reality.
“It’d be incredible if fans around the UK donated £5 to help give someone the skills to save a life.”
Through our Heartstart training, we teach simple skills that save lives, including assessing an unconscious patient, performing CPR, dealing with choking and serious bleeding, and helping someone that may be having a heart attack.
