industry news Thursday 15 May 2025 @ 00:00 Version 1 Sign 15-year, 102.7m euro contract with the Department of Education in Ireland to transform the country’s school employee payroll systems.
As part of the deal, Version 1 will design, develop, integrate, and manage Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll Software as a Service (SaaS) systems. These solutions will serve approximately 155,000 teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as retirees across Ireland.
A key element of the project will be the introduction of employee self-service capabilities, allowing staff to access their payroll information online. Version 1’s proven track record of delivering for public sector clients was central to securing this landmark deal.
