Technology will underpin effective working, integration and innovation across health and social care. But will legacy systems create a barrier to gaining the full benefits of integration? Will ICBs and local service providers harness the opportunities available from cloud? If so, will they look to public, private or hybrid operating models, and will data sovereignty issues impact those choices?

As care pathways develop from hospital into home and care home, and virtual wards become standard, will cyber security be ‘front and centre’?
