SME Supplier Locator update...

UK Government and public sector spend with SME’s is continually on the increase and by 2020, it is the stated intent of Cabinet Office that £1 of every £3 spent on government contracts goes to SME’s. The past 5 years have seen government make a priority of getting money through its supply chain into the hands of SMEs, by both setting targets and introducing new procurement mechanisms.

Against this backdrop, the WiredGov Supplier Locator service has been developed specifically to embrace the SME Agenda and provide the ideal platform for SME’s to promote their services, solutions, accreditation and success stories directly to our ever increasing audience across all government and public sector verticals and Tier 1 suppliers.

What We Offer

We deliver the NEPRO solution, run by NEPO. It’s a fully OJEU compliant procurement offering that is auditable at every step, from business case, to approvals, to supplier performance. Our role is to manage successful outcomes so you only pay us, and a supplier from our community of more than 4,000 suppliers, when the job is delivered to your expectations.

From small projects to total delivery solutions, buyers can choose to run a mini competition, or appoint a specific supplier. New suppliers are joining our community week in, week out, so if you have bespoke needs, we can new source suppliers to meet them.

And if you need to move fast, Bloom can take you from first contact to professional services on-site in as little as ten days.

Our process begins with your brief, which we’ll help you create, getting you off on the right foot. We’ll then present you with a selection of the most relevant suppliers that meet your needs, allowing you to choose without any sales pressure.  Download our guide to Bloom to find out more.

Giving you real time control

There’s many reasons why control is important in procurement.  You want to control spend and know who is buying, for what and why.

Engaging professional services suppliers can also bring complexity not seen with other categories such as reputational risk and under the radar projects.  This means you need to have a complete picture of your professional services projects and budgets supported by robust governance.

And recent changes to off-payroll tax rules affecting contractors make the need for control even more important than ever.  Our management information gives what you need so you’ll always know which suppliers are working for you, where, for how long, and all in real time.
