Why we’re supporting Get Online Week

Countdown to a safer life online

We believe collaboration between government and business is essential for delivering public services and supporting economic growth.

From helping to reduce reoffending in prisons, supporting the Armed Forces, keeping the streets clean, delivering micromobility schemes and award-winning public transport to supporting people back into employment, providing inclusive and accessible leisure facilities, and much more – the services we provide have a positive impact on people and communities.

Here’s a few examples:
  • West Midlands - since 2021, we’ve supported nearly 14,000 people back into long-term employment under the DWP Restart Scheme.

  • London - we deliver the London Cycle Hire Scheme on behalf of TfL, facilitating over 120 million journeys, and managing over 12,500 bikes over 800 docking stations.

  • Liverpool - we operate Merseyrail via a joint venture, providing over 600 regular rail services, carrying over half a million passengers per week.
