HR SERVICES We have recently supported a client with extensive redundancy consultation and redundancy communication. We guided them through the process, provided template documents to use and supported them with the dismissal meetings. Knowledge transfer has been provided to their young HR team for future learning.
BUSINESS AND HR CONSULTANCY Major change requires resource and we are often called upon to support teams facing merger, TUPE, or other organisational change. We have undertaken organisation re-design projects; changes to terms and conditions and are often called upon to assist in negotiations and consultation.
INTERNATIONAL SERVICES Our team undertake HR and people change consultancy projects overseas. We are expert in handling people and student movement between countries (eg visas). One of our consultants recently travelled to Croatia to deliver bespoke training in change management and systems thinking. Another is engaged with training HR professionals in Bangladesh.

EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS
HR support for SMEs One of our consultants has acted as HR support to an SME with no regular HR resource, assisting with day to day issues as well as providing vital support and guidance to managers during internal disciplinary and grievance processes.
Interim HR Director One of our consultants recently completed an eight month assignment as Interim HR Manager/Director for a client. An immediate challenge was to address the lack of identification and direction felt by staff as a result of the client’s recent acquisition and to complete a strategic review of the HR function and the business itself. Additional work included support on health and safety issues, elimination of flexible benefits, the introduction of new contracts and the successful conclusion of two Employment Tribunals, supported by Clarkslegal’s employment team.
Internal dialogue and communication We have provided essential independent HR assistance to a client, as part of a significant outsourcing exercise. This project required our consultants to engage in strategic dialogue and support the client’s internal HR department.
Organisational Strategy An FPL consultant has worked in partnership with the HR team of a major client, helping to develop and implement a substantial strategic organisational redesign by function, over the next twelve months. This project will include changes to terms and conditions, consultation strategy and general project management.
Psychometric testing and profiling One of our consultants has provided a client with invaluable insight into the dynamics of the Board of Directors, their personal motivations, weaknesses and strengths and how to achieve a more collegiate and functioning Board, able to deliver the company’s strategy.
Redundancy consultation We provided a consultant to a subsidiary company of a major client, to help support the existing HR team and managers in conducting the entire consultation process for over one hundred redundancies. The performance of our consultant resulted in a request to undertake all of the final dismissal meetings.
Value for money recruitment Two Forbury People consultants completed an extensive value for money review of a large organisation’s recruitment process, analysing management time, cost and getting the right person for the job from application to appointment. A full report was produced and positively received at board level.
