ABOUT US
For 4 decades, Wessex Lifts have been at the forefront of innovation in design, manufacture, installation and service of home lifts, through floor lifts, step lifts, open and enclosed platform lifts for use by the less able.
Based on the south coast in Romsey, Hampshire, England where we have our head office, manufacturing plant and main warehouse.

Part of the Ratcliff Group, Wessex Lifts produce a range of lifts for the domestic and public access/commercial markets.
As well as manufacturing Wessex offer a nationwide service department, providing quality service and repair to a range of equipment manufactured by ourselves and many other companies, making us the preferred choice of many local authorities, housing associations and individuals.
Wessex has built its success on designing and supplying products that are not only innovative and great value, but more importantly, have been designed to meet the requirements of the user whilst complying with all the necessary UK and European standards and legislation.
The current Wessex product range includes the VM Homelift, VE Enclosed Homelift, Elesse Enclosed Through Floor Lift, Liberty 3 Enclosed Platform Lift, Liberty Open, Platform Lift LR and the SP500 Step Lift. Today Wessex employs circa 150 people all over England including over 50 service and installation personnel. We also have a large distribution network covering much of the UK, Europe and North America.
Although times have changed our company has kept the same ideals of freedom in the home and the same belief that lifestyle can be changed through technology. Here's to the next 40 years of innovation!

MAINTENANCE
Our commitment to the customer does not end with the installation of a product...
Wessex has many years experience in designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining products that aid mobility. These include through floor lifts, hoists, stairlifts and platform lifts. We offer a full range of service contracts which are designed to give the correct level of maintenance as recommended by British Standards and additional peace of mind to prevent or cover unexpected breakdowns.
