Vibration
Many projects are affected by ground borne vibration particularly in cities where underground transport is prevalent. As such ground vibration assessments are often required as part of the planning process. Often undertaken at the same time as planning noise assessments, Pace Consult has a substantial depth of experience in this field.
The 'floating' of a building due to transport vibration sources such as Cross Rail is not a decision to be taken lightly and is both technically challenging as well as costly.
