ThermoShield coatings are a high quality series of breathable, mineral paints that help save energy by increasing insulation through enhanced thermal and moisture distribution

These ready to use coatings are a none toxic, low odour, water based product, made from very small, hollow ceramic bead. When dry, they form a protective coating that simply rejects cold, dampness & UV radiation influences.

All paints can be applied externally or internally to any timber or masonry by brush, roller or spray and can be colour mixed to achieve over 15000 shades.

How does it work

The hollow beads bind to each other forming a limited surface area for heat energy to get absorbed.

In addition, the coating has breathing properties that ensure moisture doesn’t bind easily with the surface the coating covers. Due to the small surface area the heat energy is dispersed easily and low levels of moisture contribute to minimal conductivity.
