ABOUT US
With over 50 years combined experience working in the agricultural sector, Paul & Toby Bacon have been practising pest control all their working lives. Paul founded the company in 2004 with his son Toby joining the company in 2020. Both have extensive knowledge and expertise in dealing with urban and rural pests.
Town and Country Pests have been successfully trading for 18 years and have regular commercial contracts including farms, golf courses, industrial units, public houses, restaurants and other retail premises. In addition they have an extensive domestic customer base, with satisfied homeowners returning year after year with their various pest problems.
We offer free advice with no obligation quotes and no costly call-out charges. Our aim is to ensure our customers are completely happy with the service we deliver. The majority of our new customers come to us from referral by other satisfied customers.
There is a strict code of practice that must be adhered to as professional pest controllers. This is backed with full Public, Product and Employers Liability Insurance. We hold a £10m Public Liability Insurance.
Before any work is carried out, we will ask a range of questions with regards to livestock, pets, children, food, etc. that might be in the area due to be treated; we use the most up to date pesticides and baits which are highly effective and often only available to professionals.

Most home-owners with an occasional pest problem will only require our service when it is truly needed, and possibly after trying to deal with the problem themselves first; we only charge for the products that are used, such as pesticides, baits, traps etc., along with a competitive hourly rate.
We provide an honest, reliable and cost-effective service. There is never any time wasting or hidden costing. You will always be charged an honest rate for the work carried out. For any businesses or homeowners that would like regular visits, we will conduct a thorough site inspection and then discuss your requirements. This allows us to decide upon mutually agreed regular, periodical visits. Once the details of the service level required is agreed we will provide a written quote along with a service agreement and contract.
We believe in the importance of providing the long term solution. Preventative action is preferable to curing the problem once it has arisen. We are able to provide advice on pigeon proofing and can fit pigeon spikes on window ledges and guttering. We also offer solutions for rabbit and deer prevention by constructing either standard or electrified fencing systems to reduce the possibility of encountering the same trouble again.
