Digital – Heritage – Interpretation – Learning
Audio Trails develop and deliver projects connecting people with history, culture and the natural environment.
We work with communities, charities, local authorities and other organisations to inspire memorable exploration and enjoyment of our heritage. Using sustainable interpretation we create accessible visitor experiences for a wide range of audiences. We are creative practitioners motivated by what we do.

I have particularly valued their emphasis on the ‘spirit of place’, adding in subtle layers of sound to help people really feel immersed in the heritage of a particular site. The attention to detail, and the commitment to quality has meant that we’ve been able to design an interpretation tool perfectly tailored to our needs and audiences. ” Jessie Binns, National Trust

WHO WE ARE
In 2006 we established Audio Trails. The concept was simple: audio tours downloaded onto MP3 players and iPods that guided visitors around heritage and countryside sites. We produced the first downloadable audio trails and now there are thousands available to download from the Internet. We led the way.
2010 saw the launch of our first native apps and we’ve extended our location-aware software to encompass the web too.
Today we offer a range of interpretation and learning services and solutions to inspire visits to heritage sites.
