HOW DOES FINTRACE WORK FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES?

FinTrace is a self-services online search portal. We provide you with a Username and Password and you are granted access to the search tools.

The solution is simple. You enter the details you know about the individual you are looking to trace and the FinTrace platform returns matched information. The information can include previous and new addresses, new mobile telephone numbers, new landline numbers and new email addresses. In some cases previous or existing Employer Names and Employer Telephone Numbers will be returned. The system also returns contact information about Linked Individuals who live at the same or previous address.

The new contact information for the individual or the Linked Individuals now gives you more contact methods to trace and contact the individual and recover money owed to the Council before passing the debt to an external Agency.

Departments that use the FinTrace solution include the Police, other Law Enforcement Agencies and Collections Departments within the Local Councils who are looking to find individuals who have moved away with unpaid Council Tax, Rent Arrears, Fixed Penalty Notices, Outstanding Court Costs and other debts.
