Paul Apps has an extensive track record in engineering consultancy and bioenergy plant contracting. His early career in marine engineering was followed by mainstream engineering consultancy and then contracting. He was founding engineer at Fibrowatt Ltd. the developers, owners and operators of the world's first commercial power plants fuelled with poultry litter. At Fibrowatt he was responsible for setting up, and running an operating business of three stand alone plants, total output 64MW. The Company pioneered electricity generation from multi biomass firing of agricultural and forestry fuels in the UK.
FuturBio services include practical advice and due diligence to investors, company management and operators. Topics cover project feasibility, technical development, cash flow forecasting, project scheduling, project execution, management systems and plant operation.
