​Accredited Service Provider - IWS deliver professional consultancy and technical service support for the health and safety, hygiene, environmental management and maintenance of water systems. Our accreditations include ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 17020, in addition to CHAS, SafeContractor and Constructionline accreditations. IWS are a registered member of the Legionella Control Association (LCA); all services are provided and delivered in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01 and BS8580 as a minimum.

 

Experience - IWS manage the resourcing and planning of over 2500 compliance monitoring contracts for a large majority of Local Authorities and Social Housing clients nationwide, in addition to our Higher Education, Emergency Services, Facilities Management and Industrial clients across the UK.  As a business we carry out over 15,000 monitoring visits and 400 Risk Assessment surveys to sites across the UK each month.

 

Fully Qualified Workforce – IWS Water Hygiene only use a directly employed water hygiene workforce; all employees are formally trained to City & Guilds level or equivalent in legionella control water treatment principles, as specified in the IWS Training Matrix and the requirements of the LCA.  All works carried out by IWS are completed under the control of our IOSH Managing Safely trained Supervisors.  All employees are screened by the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) at the enhanced level.
