As a family business with over 35 years of experience in property development across Cambridgeshire, and with established wilding projects on our family farm, we bring a unique understanding of both sides of the new Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) legislation. We are here to support developers at every stage—from the initial survey through to fulfilling all BNG conditions—offering knowledgeable, reliable guidance grounded in our experience as both developers and dedicated land stewards.

Through our wilding projects, we can provide a diverse range of BNG units (or fractions thereof) to ensure full compliance with the latest government requirements. Unlike brokers, we’re conscientious landowners who are deeply committed to enhancing biodiversity through the restoration of natural woodland regrowth, enriched hedgerows, and flourishing wildflower meadows.

On-Site vs Off-Site

Creating viable, diverse habitats and wildlife communities often requires connectivity and adequate scale, which can be challenging on development sites.

We believe that allocating green space for biodiversity in small areas within individual developments (on-site), poses risks to both biodiversity and the developer’s BNG strategy which requires the developer to manage the biodiversity enhancement for a 30 year period.

Purchasing BNG units off-site with us takes the hassle away from developers and into our trusted care.

 

Bespoke BNG Sites

Bespoke delivery within your LPA or NCA, anywhere in England. For projects needing 15+ units, we provide an all in one solution. We can deliver your exact unit requirements in as little as 6 to 9 months from agreement to allocation.

 

End-to-end delivery

We handle everything from site acquisition and due diligence through to final allocation. We carry the off-site management and reporting obligations under the legal agreement so you don’t have to.

Once we’ve agreed your BNG requirements, let us deal with the rest….

  • Site acquisition within your LPA or NCA
  • Agree metric and design agreed with the LPA
  • Implement enhancements to the BNG Site and assume all responsibility for the 30 year management period
  • Section 106 or Conservation Covenant, and register site with Natural England
  • Issue allocation to you for discharge of conditions

 

How can we deliver your units?

We provide off-site BNG units through our own wilding projects, assuming the responsibility and risk on behalf of developers, allowing them to concentrate solely on their own projects.

Already equipped with a S106 agreement and a comprehensive 30-year management plan (HMMP), we are able to deliver the developers required Biodiversity Gain Plan quickly and efficiently.

As conscientious land stewards, we pledge to monitor the habitat for over 30 years, ensuring our BNG units are 100% secure, third-party verified, and hassle free.
