Since 1985 Soft Options have specialised in providing computer solutions designed to fulfil the business needs of its customers. Its skilled consultants deliver cost effective systems to an expanding UK client base ranging from small businesses to corporate and public sector customers.

Building on an established expertise in a wide variety of software products, the company delivers a complete range of services from small business solutions to bespoke applications. The company offers a wealth of experience in all PC-based software for database, network, accounting, document management, remote access, smart device support and web systems.

In-house programming and consultancy skills are complimented by engineering facilities to provide a complete hardware and software solution. All our systems are fully supported by project management, site implementation, and customer training services, backed up by an engineering team dedicated to hardware and network installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Software specialists are available to provide continued on-site, and telephone support, and can offer round-the-clock on-line support services.

Soft Options operate from Hub 26. Hub 26 is a lifestyle centre with luxury office space just off the M62 at Junction 26 and offers many benefits for the business, our staff and visiting customers

ISO27001

In July 2018 we gained our ISO27001 accreditation.  This information security management standard lasts for three years and is subject to mandatory audits to ensure we remain compliant. After three years Soft Options will complete a reassessment audit in order to retain the accreditation for an additional three years.

Development

  • Soft Options have been supplying industry-leading software to NHS and other customers since 1985. With all that experience our systems will, in all likelihood, already cover most of your needs. However, no two organisations are the same, so all our projects include a development element to ensure that your system works exactly the same way you do. Your system is future-proofed and can easily respond to change as further development can be undertaken at any time.

Training

  • Every system we supply includes training time to allow your team to use your new system to its full capacity. Our team of experienced IT trainers work with you to guide and improve your processes, as well as giving your users the confidence and ability to carry out their roles efficiently. Training can also be delivered independently of a system upgrade, either in person or online using Web Conferencing.

Support

  • Our support desk is available Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5pm, with an experienced team of staff offering assistance with all of our products and services. We are proud of our response times and a recent survey showed 80% of our customers received a support response within an hour - 17% within ten minutes! Our support desk is based in the UK and we do not employ outside call centre agencies.

  • BEST V14 is the latest version of our software aimed at Equipment Services and Approved Repairers. Manage your client-base, referrals, appointments, clinical assessments, stock and more.   • A secure, browser based method of accessing and updating your BEST data on the move. Any device with an internet connection can now work with your BEST data, including iPads, tablets, smart phones, laptops and PC's. More Info 

IMF

  • Using data-enabled forms you can now pre-screen your referrals by setting mandatory fields that are checked before they even reach you – then import the referrals directly into BEST. Not only does this save time, but also ensure more complete and accurate data. More Info

  • This system can be configured to meet the needs of any business and it can be installed with the standard features included without any charge (customers pay for on-going support and any customisation that they can’t do themselves). We work with our customer to provide an exact match for their needs. More Info 

Business Intelligence

  • We can assist you with analysing your data and showcasing your stats and KPIs in a meaningful, visual manner using Business Intelligence. Initially we are offering this in the form of workshops, held at our office in Hipperholme, Halifax, where up to 10 delegates can attend a short session introducing them to the basics and to gain an understanding about how this can help them.
