About Us
We are a UK-Based, Broad-Spectrum Cyber Security Consultancy and Cyber Security Recruitment Agency.
Way back in the last millennium before "Cyber" became a term synonymous with computers and technology, our team were delivering Information Security and protecting the UK military's networks. Our passion for Information Security has developed into our business and within our team, we have centuries of experience to call upon. We pride ourselves in delivering cyber security consultancy and professionals worldwide, from small businesses to globally recognised brands.
We have two main areas of business: consultancy and recruitment services. We also offer free access to our cyber threat intelligence via the CND Radar Console. CND has set out to distinguish itself from the crowd by focusing on ethical business practices, technically knowledgeable recruiters, and consultants who love all things Cyber. We continue to grow and pursue projects that interest our consultants and challenge our recruiters.

A Family Business At Its Heart Computer Network Defence Ltd (CND) was founded in 2004 as a family business by Managing Director Andy Cuff and his wife Amanda, who has a background in banking and finance. Andy, with a background in military computing, communications including space, and electronics, went on to progress into information security, covering TEMPEST, TSCM and the emerging field of cyber security. Our passion for Information Security has developed into our business and within our team, we have centuries of experience to call upon. |

Consultancy We specialise in developing cyber security solutions into secure environments in both the Public and Private Sector. Our consultancy services are divided into four categories – Assess, Protect, Detect and Respond - we consider this to be the cyber security life cycle. We will work closely with you to capture your requirements, define timelines, and set expectations, ensuring that the service is tailored to your needs. We can fully manage any service that you require or if you prefer, assist in handing it over, even if this means recruiting talent for your team. |

Recruitment We are the UK’s oldest independent cyber security recruitment agency. Our ethical, personable, and dedicated approach to business has resulted in a reputation for excellence. This combined with our in-house technical, consultancy, and recruitment expertise ensures an unrivalled understanding of candidate and client requirements. Over many years we have developed an extensive portfolio of services and have had to break them down into the following four categories:
Assess Various services where we assess your current security measures and suggest where improvements could be made.
Protect These services harden your security and make it more difficult for you to be breached.
Detect With these services we supply devices and provide monitoring capability to make the detection of an attack more likely.
Respond When you are breached we have an expert team at the ready to provide a number of response services.
In addition many of the above services are available as a managed service, where you outsource the responsibility for running the service to our experts within CND.
