Directors Statement
At MSS we have always had an unwavering approach to delivering value and doing so through the provision of informed and impartial advice to our Clients, as and when they require it.
I have experience in acting as Expert Advisor, Single Joint Expert, and Party Expert, and have acted on a range of disputes including numerous small claims cases, multi-mullion pound contractual disputes, land remediation, and on one case involving several thousand individual defects, amongst many others.
In addition, I am a full member of the Academy of Experts (MAE).
I am often instructed by solicitors, contractors, and private individuals to act as Expert Witness and am fully conversant with the requirements of the Civil and Criminal Procedure rules.
I am a highly experienced and technically competent Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Construction Manager, possessing years’ 20 experience of the industry.
I am a full member of the Academy of Experts (MAE), Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (‘FRICS’) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (‘FCIArb’).
I have additionally completed the Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (‘APAEWE’) and sit on the RICS President’s panel of accredited experts.
I have acted as expert witness on more than 45 occasions and have acted as expert advisor on many more. My industry experience includes working for contractors, developers and claims consultancies, and on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe valued in excess of £1 billion.
My experience in the role of Expert Witness includes criminal cases and civil cases ranging from small claims cases, fraud, trading standards, to an Arbitration in respect of £750m disputed construction costs.
