Services
Waste Minimisation
These invaluable surveys are carried out on the premises of our customers and allow them to receive completely sound, impartial advice about the resource efficiency of their current practices in segregation. Our checklist serves as a means of offering our customers a thorough, investigative report, accompanied by our written recommendations once complete.
Since their implementation, the surveys have proved very successful and have helped to install peace of mind with our“green health check” which keeps you - the waste producer - up to date with all current and pending environmental legislation.
Liquid Waste Recycling
All wastes must be identified prior to removal from site, Innovative Environmental Services Ltd have the technical expertise and capability to remove any size of container ranging from small laboratory chemicals, drums, intermediate bulk containers and bulk tanker loads. These can be sampled, identified, listed, packaged, re-drummed (where required) and labelled in full compliance with all applicable legislation. Prior to removal the materials are categorised whereby the recoverable items identified and separated from the “wastes”.
If an on-site treatment method is not viable, all wastes can be recovered / disposed of via fully Licensed sites - each site having been audited by our experienced personnel to ensure that yours and our “Duty of Care” requirements have been carried out from “Cradle to Grave”. All statutory documentation is prepared by Innovative Environmental Services Ltd personnel prior to removal from site.
Dry Waste Recycling
At Innovative Environmental Services Ltd, we carry out site surveys in order to identify how your waste management practices could be improved. Once this process has been completed, we can supply solutions including various types of skips, containers, bailers, compactors and shredders etc. to enable you to achieve savings while improving your management of environmental risks, your performance and overall competitiveness.
Industrial Services
Innovative Environmental Services Ltd carry out tank cleaning, on-site treatment and solutions ranging from the largest of tanks to the smallest vessels. Whatever your product may be from oils, flammables, acids, alkalis, pharmaceuticals and toxic chemicals, we will cater for your individual requirements. Our favoured approach is always to avoid man entry, due to the fact we have the expertise and rotating head equipment to replace it. The resultant washings may be treated on-site either via filtration, correction or, if required, can be transported safely to pre-audited authorised waste facilities.
Plant Decontamination
Responsible companies require a professional approach to their site decontamination needs. Innovative Environmental Services Ltd have the capability to deliver turnkey projects, implemented from survey and sampling through to a complete clean down of the plant or area, possibly involving the use of on-site separation systems, in order to isolate and dispose of any impregnated / contaminated materials.
Sampling Analysis
Innovative Environmental Services Ltd can supply a full sampling and analysis service including investigation of unknown organics, contaminated land analysis, landfill monitoring, sewer and watercourse discharge (Consent Compliance monitoring), ground waters analysis (pollution investigation) and potable waters investigation (chemical and microbiological analysis).
All samples are handled through an independent UKAS accredited laboratory. Once processed, the analytical data accumulated is then forwarded to the customer, along with full advice on the findings.
Drum & Container Sales
As an ancillary service to our customers, we currently supply a large number of UN approved containers and drums on a monthly basis, including 1000ltr IBC containers, 205ltr clip top/bung top steel / plastic drums down to 500ml sample bottles. This service is typically offered on an exchange basis when uplifting waste or they can be supplied as individual deliveries.
Spill Response Kits
Recent Control of Pollution Regulations makes it mandatory for all affected parties involved to protect the environment. All fluids being used or stored must be contained correctly, with adequate preventative measures in place relative to the volumes and types of chemicals. Innovative Environmental Services Ltd supply an extensive range of Spill Response Kits, waste handling equipment, bundled storage systems, absorbents and fluid carrying systems, improving house-keeping standards and cutting down on manual handling.
We are readily available to answer any technical questions in order to assist you in making the correct product selection. We are also available to visit your site, provide solutions, carry out site assessments and, where appropriate, arrange product training.
