WHO WE ARE

Amalgamated are one of the leading independent Fire and Security companies in the UK, recently winning the 2016 ECA Contractor of the Year Award (under £5M turnover). We offer Design, Installation, Commissioning, Servicing/Maintenance and Monitoring of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Fire Extinguishers, Dry Risers, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control.

Since our incorporation date in 1970, Amalgamated have grown considerably in size to become a national provider, with a focus on the North, Midlands, and South regions. The majority of our operations are centralised in Manchester, including our Helpdesk Team, Accounts, HR, Sales & Marketing, Directors and general administrative staff. Each regional area has Senior and Service/Install Engineers supported by a Regional Manager. Third party audits are carried out by the SSAIB for our ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001; and BAFE for SP203 and SP101. Constructionline and CHAS also assess us for accreditation on an annual basis. We also have IIP Silver Status and are members of the ECA, NICEIC, FSA, British Safety Council, ROSPA and FIA. 

Amalgamated have been in business for 50 years as a Fire and Security provider with extensive experience in all areas including retail, office/commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and residential. Our existing client base includes large public sector clients such as Derwent Living, Regenda Group, Progress Housing, Yorkshire Housing and Royal Borough of Kingston Council. We also service some large FM companies including Metro Safety and Engie which consist of large luxury accommodation blocks and office buildings throughout London. Not only can we provide a cost-effective maintenance scheme to suit your budget, we can also conduct multi-discipline maintenance to reduce your costs and time spent making sure everything is up to date and fully functional. We have 24/7 response to callouts utilising our own employees and offer a full system monitoring service with both emergency services and key holder response. We also use an industry-specific database called CASH for Windows to manage our database of customers and their servicing requirements.
