ABOUT US
SIS GB Ltd is a family run company which has been trading successfully for over 30 years. The company is headed by David Evans who began his career in catering, before moving on to the chemicals and construction industry in the 1980s. Since then he has built up his higher level qualifications base in Industry and Health and Safety to be recognised as one of the top safety specialists in the country having attained the prestigious Chartered status in the Institute of Safety & Health OSHCR Consultant status (recognised as competent on the Health and Safety Executive Register). David is also a national and international tutor delivering the Construction Industry Training Board Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
David acts as Principal Designer in conjunction with construction companies design teams and his team have worked with many construction blue chip and SMEs.
Andrew Evans is a Chartered Member of Institute of Safety and Health and registered consultant with the HSE Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register. He is a qualified civil engineer and was trained by Airbus. Andrew has high level qualifications in Engineering and Health and Safety. He has IOSH chartered status with the Institute of Safety & Health and is an engineering and construction specialist. Similar to David, Andrew is one of the elite Tutors who has national and international accreditation to deliver the Construction Industry Training Board Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
Julie Evans runs the Occupational Health unit of SIS Health & Safety company including testing, sampling and first aid. Julie also has high level qualifications in End Health and Safety and has Chartered status in the Institute of Safety & Health. Her level of skills in training have ensured that she has trained the likes of Warwick University staff for over 10 years and has blue chip clients who return year after year for training.
Employers can’t avoid their health and safety responsibilities, but they can choose to have their training carried out by a highly experienced trainer with a wealth of industry background so to understand the pitfalls in a particular industry. All trainers have the latest teaching and industry qualifications and are accredited with one or more Bodies such as CITB, HSE, OCR FOFATO.
As far as possible we are a one stop shop, we act as competent person by developing and assisting in implementing your safety systems, undertake first aid and safety training, carry out your PAT testing, check you staff for occupational health issues, samples the atmosphere if necessary, we even have a mental health nurse on board if anyone is suffering from stress, and a professor on the team who is an eye and nutrition expert should you need this service.
SIS Health & Safety can help by carrying out site risk assessments, machine inspections and audits, whilst providing you with an assessment of your health and safety training needs.
