About Us
With over 30 years in the packaging industry Charpak’s innovative ideas-based design has enabled a revolution in how products are manufactured, transported, used and recycled at their end of use. Charpak manufacture thermoformed packaging solutions for FMCG brands, retail packaging, consumers, medical, healthcare and protective industrial packaging.

Our bespoke packaging contains up to 90% recycled material. Charpak widely recycled packaging includes in-process precision-engineered manufacturing solutions, high quality food, beverage and retail packaging, and solutions to improve transport and distribution efficiencies.

How we do it
As a vertically integrated company all design, prototyping, tooling, engineering and manufacturing capabilities are controlled and operated in-house. Our lean manufacturing operations use a closed-loop water system to save water resource. We offer agile and responsive lead-times using hand-finished techniques and state-of-the-art machinery and automation.
Our bespoke and standard packaging ranges from seasonal low volume custom-designs and prototype packaging to multi-million production runs.

Our commitment to developing sustainable solutions is demonstrated by our launch of the UK’s first Localised Circular Economy in 2019. The Cambridgeshire-wide programme uses recycled plastic to manufacture products, then at end of the product’s use the packaging is recycled, super-cleaned and re-manufactured into new packaging products.

Supporting and Protecting NHS and Key Industries
We are pleased to announce the launch of our PPE Face Visor Kits, designed for the comfort and protection of NHS staff and key workers across the country.
Whilst we are currently prioritising the NHS, we are also offering this to wider Key Industries, where applicable, including food production/distribution, transport & retail workers to help keep our industries and economy running smoothly. We are now in a position to rapidly ramp-up production.
