DAD (Dashboard for Accelerated Discharge) directly addresses this bottleneck by providing a real-time, 60-minute shortlist of available, appropriate care providers, tailored to each patient’s needs, funding status, and location.

Unlike outdated static systems that rely on providers manually updating availability, DAD flips the current model—leveraging technology and strong provider relationships to actively query live capacity.

This cuts discharge delays by up to four days per patient, frees up valuable bed space, and significantly improves staff productivity and morale. The result is faster, safer discharges and more days at home for patients.

Developed and tested through a consumer-facing sister platform supporting thousands of families monthly, DAD is already proven, built, interoperable, and ready to scale nationally.

It aligns directly with ICB goals around improved patient flow, innovation, and population-level impact—while delivering a powerful new data layer that can identify regional care shortfalls and support future planning.
